Northbank Capital Management invests in small and microcap stocks that generally possess the following attributes: strong net cash balance sheets, inexpensive valuations, and operations in structural growth industries with meaningful idiosyncratic catalysts within the next six-to-twelve months.
Northbank’s thesis stems from the premise that there is significant excess return potential when bringing a disciplined, institutional mindset to the $25-350mn market cap space, where price dislocations are commonplace.
Founded Northbank Capital Management in 2021. Former sell-side Merrill Lynch and buy-side Davenport & Co. research analyst. While at Davenport, Mr. Seagraves’ investment ideas helped grow the asset management division from $4bn to $10bn over his decade-long tenure. Double majored in Finance and Economics at University of Virginia.
